See Clearly & Comfortably

Contact lenses can give you the clear vision you want, without the hassle of wearing glasses.

Before you order your next pair of contacts, it’s important to get a proper contact lens exam and fitting to ensure your contact lenses are providing you with the maximum benefit.

Our Contact Lens Exam Process

When you visit us for a contact lens exam, we’ll perform a thorough assessment of your eye health and vision just like we do during a regular eye exam.

Then, we’ll take measurements specific to contact lens wear so we can determine your prescription. We take into account all of your vision and lifestyle needs to find the right type of contact lenses for you.

Once we’ve gone over all of the options, we’ll supply you with a pair of trial lenses for you to try out. After testing them out, we’ll ask you to come back so we can assess your eyes and make any necessary adjustments.

After you’ve found a pair that works for you, all that’s left to do is order your contacts and you’ll be ready to experience better vision minus the frames!

Types of Contact Lenses

At Family Vision Center, we aim to be your one-stop-shop for all things eye care! That’s why we carry a wide range of contact lenses so you can find a pair that works for you.

Scleral Lenses

Scleral lenses are large-diameter gas permeable contact lenses designed to cover only a portion of the cornea. Scleral lenses have the same advantages compared to conventional contact lenses but allow more oxygen to flow to the eye, benefiting patients with dry eye or hard-to-fit corneas.

Myopia, or nearsightedness, is a condition that causes blurred distance vision. If you suffer from myopia, we carry myopia management contact lenses, including MiSight contact lenses and Orthokeratology (Ortho-K) lenses as part of our myopia control treatment.

Rigid gas-permeable (RGP) lenses are durable, long-lasting contact lenses that allow more oxygen to pass through to the eye. These lenses can give your clearer vision and are often used to treat astigmatism and control certain eye diseases.

Hybrid contact lenses are a type of contact lens with a rigid gas-permeable center and a soft lens exterior. The combination of these materials makes the lens more comfortable to wear for patients who have a hard time wearing contact lenses due to issues with comfort.

Multifocal contact lenses are contact lenses that contain different lens powers. Having different lens powers within one lens can help you see clearly at multiple different distances, without having to change eyewear.

Colored contact lenses can provide you with clear vision while enhancing or changing your eye color. Colored contact lenses are a fun way to switch up your look, but it’s important to ensure you’re buying FDA-approved lenses that are prescribed to you and fitted by your optometrist.

Transition contact lenses are like transition glasses in contact form. These contacts balance the amount of indoor and outdoor light that’s allowed to enter your eyes, protecting your vision. Transition lenses can even detect and adjust to blue light from digital devices.
